The UK’s Royal Mail plans to build 50 drone routes to serve remote communities. The plan uses 200 twin-engine drones that can carry up to 100 kg of mail and take two return flights per day. Experimental flights began earlier this year, although the plan would first require approval from the Civil Aviation Authority.
