Absolutely gorgeous individual 1995 BMW 850 Ci will look great in your garage

The E31 generation of the BMW 8-Series is considered by many to be one of the most timeless designs from the Bavarian brand. Now, one of the most unique versions of the car is for sale in Prague, Czech Republic, and thanks to its condition and features, it can be purchased and imported in your garage.

This car is a 1995 850 Ci which is special in itself for various reasons. First, BMW produced more than 1,200 examples of this particular model between 1994 and 1999 (not my year). Its name is less than any other E31 8-Series except the word Alpina.

Second, it doesn’t have the 5.0-liter 300 hp (223 kW) M70 V12 from the older 850i but instead has a 5.4-liter 322 hp (240 kW) V12 that sends power to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission. This is the most powerful version of the 5.4-liter engine that has ever been fitted in an 8-Series but there are many more things to like about this car.

More importantly, though, it is an 850 Ci person or in other words, a custom order. It is characterized by many unique details and trim choices that you would not find in a typical 8-Series. For example, take a closer look at the interior and you will see that it has trimmed colors throughout. From door cards to seats and dashes, you’ll find BMW’s Tobagoblau blue everywhere. Although it is not actually an M division car, it is an M division paint color.

As you can see from the photos, the car is in excellent condition. The main blade indicates that it is a standalone model still attached to the strut tower next to the driver. The car has 54,575 miles (87,831 km) and appears to have moved off the factory floor. As of this writing, the car has only been bid up to € 18,000 ($ 19,317) and the auction will end tomorrow.

Considering the price of a used car in the States at the moment, it seems that there is still some flesh on the bones that anyone is willing to snatch. It’s even old enough that you can get it properly licensed for road-legal road use
