The BMW M3 will get some companies at the Turing Goodwood Festival of Speed because the Ford Pro and Ford Performance have teased a mysterious collaboration.
While there’s nothing to see but a full-width light bar and illuminated Ford Performance logo, the model is probably an electric van with the Ford Pro involved and the teaser indicates “something electrifying.”
It doesn’t have to do much, but Ford unveiled the e-transit custom in May and has already teased the upcoming Transit Courier, Tornio Courier, Tornio Custom and e-Transit. Transit Custom and Tornio Custom are due to arrive in 2023, while Transit Courier and Tornio Courier are due to end next year.

The teaser doesn’t shed much light on what to expect, but potential candidates are probably a modified version of e-Transit Custom or e-Tournio Custom. While this remains to be seen, Ford Performance’s involvement suggests that we can expect something a bit worse.
Numerous questions remain, but e-Transit Custom is an electric head turner because it is a future front fascia and a “no-compromise all-electric architecture”. Ford did not provide much-specified information, but previously stated that the van would have a 236-mile (380 km) range as well as a DC fast-charging capability, towing capability and propeller onboard technology. The automaker will release more details this September before the van goes into production in the second half of 2023.
