Lego’s new $ 170 Optimus Prime could actually be converted into a truck

It is widely known that Lego is a great product but sometimes it really fascinates with its invention. The latest kit in this case is a 13.5-inch long Optimus Prime which is actually converted into a transport truck.

While the idea that a Transformer toy is actually, well, transformed is nothing new, you may have guessed before that Lego is very flexible and the conversion processes are very complex for your own toy. Although not anymore, the company’s latest toy can bend and twist itself into both a robot and a truck.

The 2-in-1 Lego Kit has 19 points of articulation in robot mode and the chest cavity can be opened to hold the lead autobot matrix. Additionally, an ion blaster and an Energon ax can be added to a jetpack as well, if he has to deal with any annoying dyspeptics.

If you want to show off your Autobot, you can do so with a display plaque that provides important information about its position between Optimus Prime and Autobots, as well as its statistics. You can put it next to it in robot or truck mode as it is displayed in your office

In robot mode, the Optimus Prime Kit is 13.5 inches (35 cm) long and 7 inches (18.5 cm) wide, while in truck mode it is 5.5 inches (15 cm) long, 10.5 inches (27 cm) long and 4.5 inches. (12 cm) wide. Due to the size and complexity of the build, the kit is quite tough. Featuring 1,508 pieces, Lego recommends that manufacturers be 18 years of age or older.

Remember, a kit of this size does not come cheap. The Optimus Prime Lego set is ringing at a retail price of 169.99, with sales starting June 1st.
