See this reckless driver targeting police officers with his drift

A Chrysler 300C driver crashed into a car meeting in Maryland last Tuesday when he tried to hit a police officer and other pedestrians with a drifting car. A 22-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder.

The incident took place at a Walmart near Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover, Maryland. In a video uploaded to Instagram by ticket rejecters, we see a police officer trying to stop a Chrysler 300 that looks quite damaged from the outside. The driver disobeyed the officer’s orders and started moving around the parking lot, dangerously approaching other vehicles parked nearby.

The most traumatic part is when a Chrysler driver tries to run over a police officer who is briefly protected from injury. The reckless driving doesn’t stop there, as the car comes back and tries to hit the officer again, this time with a drift. Fortunately, people were able to get out of the way, even though it was a close call.

Police came to the spot after getting the news of reckless driving. Officers were trying to disperse the crowd when the female driver deliberately approached them. According to the Daily Voice, the driver tried to hit several officers and crashed into an occupied police vehicle, causing minor injuries to both him and the officer. Presumably, he was arrested and taken into custody without a bond after being taken to a local hospital.

CBS Baltimore reports that he has now been charged with “multiple attempted first-degree murder, reckless endangerment, obstruction of arrest and multiple counts related to the incident.” If convicted, the maximum penalty for the crime in Maryland is life imprisonment.
