Apparently like everything else in America, the Chevrolet Corvette is having a big price bump – $ 2,300, precisely. And it goes without saying that many of the preferred alternatives are growing. Here’s a breakdown of what it costs, how Chevrolet is dealing with orders already placed, and what the new base price for a Corvette really is.
People first noticed on the MidEngineCorvet Forum (via CorvetBlogger), effective June 13, 2022, that every Corvet Stingray, coupe, and convertible in the lineup had a similar increase in the prices mentioned above. This brings the new entry point to $ 64,200 before the mandatory delivery fee of $ 1,395. Together, that means the base MSRP for a bare-sister vet is $ 65,595.
Buyers who want a drop-top version of the mid-engine coupe will have to spend a total of at least $ 73,095. At the most expensive Sting, the 3LT convertible has an MSRP of $ 84,545.

Despite this increase, Corvette still offers an outstanding value for money. It is one of the fastest and most capable sports cars on the planet and it is still starting less than the slower Porsche 718 Boxster. Fortunately, buyers who have already ordered will not be affected by the price increase.
As long as the order is considered for sale before 13th June, MSRP will remain the same. Of course, these numbers all assume that the dealer does not try to identify the car. Do these price increases take you away from the idea of owning a new Corvette or do they seem reasonable to you? Let us know in the comments below.
